Our Future Home - The Historic Eatonton Hotel!

The 1800's building sits on the courthouse square in the county seat of Putnam County, located in the central area of the State of Georgia called the Historic Heartland.

Three floors (9,000 sq. ft) with hand-hewn beams and rough brick walls create a rustic backdrop for unique, state-of-the-art interactive exhibits, as well as classes, seminars and events.  The first floor will offer a cafe and gift shop.  Abundant parking is offered on the street and behind the building

The colorful mural above, added  after the aerial photos were taken, celebrates the three local famous writers, Alice Walker, Flannery O'Connor and Joel Chandler Harris.

Students from Georgia College and Putnam County Schools joined up to design three options.  This design, selected by the community, was painted by the students and officially installed in spring of 2015.

As we raise money to restore and renovate the building, we'll post updates to tell you about our progress so check back often.

As always donations are welcome and much appreciated!

Help us get into our special home!
